PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (PDE) UNIT
The College runs a Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) programme which was established in the year 2015. The programme (PDE) is aimed to professionalise teaching based on areas of specialization. It is designed to train Degree/HND certificate holders in the art of teaching, thereby, making them to become professional teachers. A Student’s Guidebook for the programme which contains information about areas of specialization has been developed and the areas include:
- Early Childhood Education
- Primary Education
- Secondary Education
- Technical Education
- Nursing Education
- Nomadic Education
- Islamic Education
- Adult and Non-Formal Education and
- University Education
